Aims And Scope
Al Hanun: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes scholarly articles reporting the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of community engagement and empowerment programs. The journal aims to disseminate innovative, participatory, sustainable, and evidence-based practices that contribute to solving problems and improving the quality of life of individuals, groups, institutions, and communities.
The journal provides an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, practitioners, community organizations, government institutions, students, and other stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences, methods, technologies, and models developed through community service activities. Particular attention is given to programs that integrate academic knowledge with local wisdom, religious and ethical values, community participation, and sustainable development.
The journal accepts original community service articles, including community-based participatory programs, empowerment initiatives, training and mentoring activities, technology dissemination, program evaluation, and the development of community engagement models.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

Islamic education, religious empowerment, and religious moderation, including mosque, pesantren, madrasah, family, and faith-based community programs.

Community economic empowerment, including entrepreneurship, creative economy, financial literacy, Islamic economics, micro, small, and medium enterprises, and local product development.

Health and community welfare, including health education, nutrition, stunting prevention, sanitation, mental health awareness, and family welfare.

Science, technology, and digital transformation, including appropriate technology, digital literacy, information technology, social media, and technological innovation for communities.

Environmental sustainability, including waste management, environmental education, disaster mitigation, conservation, and sustainable use of local resources.

Social, cultural, and humanitarian development, including child protection, gender empowerment, social inclusion, disability services, cultural preservation, and strengthening community institutions.

Agriculture, fisheries, and rural development, including food security, agricultural innovation, village empowerment, and sustainable management of natural resources.

Submitted manuscripts must demonstrate a clear community problem, an appropriate intervention or empowerment method, active participation of community partners, measurable program outcomes, and a meaningful contribution to the development of community engagement practices.
Articles may be written in Indonesian or English and must comply with the journal’s author guidelines and manuscript template.
